Design & Development · WordPress / Elementor
Every business has a story waiting to take shape. For Brooks Manley’s Trellis Marketing, that story began with a clear identity, thoughtful words, and photography that brought the people behind the business into view.
My role was to imagine how those pieces could come together online—and make that vision real.
Brooks supplied the logo, initial colors, logotype, copy, and photography. I refined the color palette, shaped the typographic hierarchy, and designed the interface and user journey. Subtle entrance animations and hover effects added moments of discovery, giving the experience movement and personality.
I designed and developed the homepage and Web Design services page in WordPress and Elementor. Together, they established a visual language Brooks could carry forward: reusable elements that helped him build additional pages while keeping the site cohesive.
What started as two pages became a foundation for a wider digital presence—with room for Trellis’s next chapter.

White-Label Development · WordPress / Elementor
Blue Ridge Mountain Club brings mountain living into view. Working behind the scenes with an agency based in Greenville, South Carolina, I developed its website in WordPress and Elementor from the agency’s designs.
Alongside the page development, I built the custom functionality supporting property listings, structured content, listing grids, and individual property pages, plus Private Reserve access through WordPress, optional property PDFs, and a weather API integration for local conditions.
I also developed a custom SharpSpring API integration, now Constant Contact Lead Gen & CRM, to capture inquiries from forms and listings and help route leads to the sales team.

Design & Development · Squarespace · Technical SEO
For a counseling practice, the first connection can begin before a conversation. Working directly with Hannah Hughes, I helped refine her Squarespace website into a clearer, more welcoming introduction to her practice.
The work began beneath the surface: addressing technical crawl issues, improving page speed and image performance, and refining page titles and descriptions. With that foundation in place, I designed and built a refreshed homepage, shaping the layout, messaging, and visual hierarchy around helping visitors get to know Hannah and understand what to expect.
Hannah supplied professional photography of herself in her office, bringing the person and space behind the practice into view. I integrated the imagery, refined the homepage through her feedback, and migrated her existing pages and blog into the updated site, with supporting color and background adjustments to bring it together.
The result was a fresh introduction to Hughes Counseling—grounded in Hannah’s own content, with a more personal welcome and a stronger technical foundation.

Let’s talk about your next project“Copy Moon joy.”
Jenni Gibbons · Artemis II, April 2026
During Artemis II’s journey around the Moon, a few words captured something much bigger: the wonder of seeing the familiar from an entirely new perspective.
That feeling stayed with me. The years of careful work. The shared curiosity. The moment it all becomes real.
MoonJoy is my way of bringing a little of that feeling down to Earth. I pair imaginative design with thoughtful engineering to help people see what’s possible—and build it.

A human connection.
From the first hello.

I’m Brent Alexander, the designer and developer behind MoonJoy Digital. I love that space between “what if?” and “there it is”—and helping people make the journey.
With a frontend focus and a strong design background, I bring both sides of the work together. WordPress and Elementor are my home turf, alongside Shopify, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and MySQL.
MoonJoy is an independent studio. You work directly with me, from the first conversation to the details that make your website feel right.
Curiosity doesn’t stop at the screen. Running and pickleball keep me moving, learning, and coming back for the next challenge. I write about both at brentalexander.net .
